The site survey will confirm, but don't assume you're too far out — we've surprised many residents who thought they were stuck with DSL.
Cable infrastructure follows a hub-and-spoke model. The distribution hub for this area is west of Alta Vista, and cable signal degrades with distance. By the time you reach the eastern edge, the signal has weakened beyond usable levels. Internet doesn't have distance limitations in the same way — if you can see our tower (or we can get a signal to you via relay), you get full speed.
