Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information Jelly Digital collects, how we use it, and the rights you have under California law. Last updated April 22, 2026.

Jelly Digital ("Jelly," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes the personal information we collect about you when you visit our website, sign up for service, and use our internet service, and the choices you have about that information.

Who we are and how to reach us

Jelly Digital is a locally-owned internet service provider based in Chula Vista, California. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@jellydigital.net, call (619) 304-7112, or write to 2220 Otay Lakes Rd. Suite 502-413, Chula Vista, CA 91915.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, service address, and billing address.
  • Billing information: payment method details, billing history. Card numbers are processed by a third-party payment processor; Jelly does not store full card numbers on its own systems.
  • Communications: messages you send us by phone, email, form, or in person, and recordings of support calls where we disclose recording is happening.

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage data: pages visited on our website, referrer, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not set cookies for tracking.
  • Service usage data: total bandwidth consumed, connection uptime, and technical diagnostics about your antenna or circuit. We do not inspect or log the contents of your internet traffic, and we do not log the specific websites you visit.
  • Network diagnostics: equipment logs from your antenna or router (if provided by us) used to diagnose outages and performance issues.

Information from third parties

We receive limited information from payment processors (confirmation of successful charges), credit-check providers (only for business customers, with consent), and Google Maps (embedded map on our contact page; Google's own privacy policy governs data collected by the embed).

How we use information

  • To provide and maintain your internet service, including scheduling installs, responding to outages, and performing technical diagnostics.
  • To bill you and process payments.
  • To respond to questions, quotes, and support requests.
  • To send service-related notifications (outage alerts, billing reminders, policy updates).
  • To improve our website and service quality.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including response to lawful requests from government agencies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your service usage data for advertising targeting. As your internet provider, we have technical visibility into certain traffic metadata — we do not log or analyze this beyond what's necessary for service operation, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (examples: payment processors, email delivery, cloud hosting, accounting, CRM), and only the information those providers need to do their job. Each is contractually obligated to protect your information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose information in response to a lawful subpoena, court order, or other legal process, and where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Jelly Digital, our customers, or others.

Your rights — California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain about you.
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Jelly Digital does not sell or share personal information in the sense defined by the CCPA.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Not receive retaliation for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@jellydigital.net with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or call us at (619) 304-7112. We'll verify your identity before responding and will reply within the timeframes required by law.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, plus the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations. When retention is no longer required, we delete or de-identify the information.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies — session cookies for form submissions and functional preferences. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement; it is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar cross-site trackers on this website.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive records, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — if we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

Our service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we've inadvertently collected a child's personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email to active customers. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

Questions

If anything here isn't clear or you have a concern about how we handle your information, please reach out. We'd rather answer a question than leave someone uncertain.
